Rating by category:
The location - close to small shops and restaurants - revealed some of Paris' unique residential experiences - meat, cheese, fruit vegetable markets. Also easy access to public transport network for quick, cheap and rapid movement throughout the city
The staff on the front desk were very helpful and spoke good english, which we found throughout Paris, everyone was so nice which came as a great surpise as we are always told they are rude to the English. Rooms small but clean and just what we needed for a couple of nights stay. Bathroom had a handy hairdryer on the wall. Location great, 10 mins to Les Gobelins Metro and just round the corner from Rue de Mouffetard which is a fabulous place to sit in a cafe and watch the world go by and a lovely 3 course meal for 15 euro. A 15-20 minute walk to Notre Dame where you can get on a sight seeing bus which is a great way to see the city for about 20 euro.
The hotel's location is a 5 minute walk from the Paris metro that can take you to almost all tourist spots within ~15 minutes. We loved the fact that it wasn't in a tourist area which allowed us to feel like we were just your average Parisian residents with our local Brasserie, Bakery and Supermarket.
Hotel breakfast a little too expensive for our budget when less money can easily buy more at a bakery or Brasserie around the corner.
Clean and comfortable, and very close to Rue Mouffetard, which is a nice area.
The hotel was within reasonable walking distance for all public transportation and good-to-excellent cafes. The room, while small, was functional, comfortable, and very clean. The TV was flat screen, an unexpected nicety.
This is not a room for someone on business; the space simply won't accommodate a work station. The size also limits visitors and you would also not want to spend time in the room beyond meeting basic needs of sleep and cleaning up. We used it only as a way-station in between a very active few days, so it was perfect for our purposes.
I only stayed for a couple of nights. It was very clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and very willing to help. It's in a lovely location and close to 2 metro stations, nice markets, shops and restaurants. To be recommended
Hairdryer was broken room backed onto yard at the back of hotel - as a result I was woken up by staff at 5am and several times following, moving bins around and plates/crockery in preparation for breakfast
Location was great and the staff was always happy to help.
The room could be painted (104). There were quite a few marks on the wall but this is more like a suggestion really.lo
It is close to the station
It looked like staff was making an effort in answering my questions. Internet was not workng and when I complained they said that their internet pages where ok and they did not bother to fix my problem. They just said that it is plenty of wifi connection in paris and I could try to guess the pasword from the shops around Phone in my room was not working. Room was really small Air conditioning was not working
Lovely hotel, nice room and the location was perfect.
The hotel was quiet, comfortable and private.
Easy access to all amenities.
During our stay both the air con and the wi-fi were down.
It was quiet and comfortable, room size was good. Sensible colour scheme. Good WiFi. Comfortable breakfast room.
No place to put suite cases. Air con fan noise was to loud. No means to make coffe/tea in the room. To little space between the desk and the bed making it difficult to move around.
We enjoyed being close to the Rue Mouffetard area with its shops and restaurants and delightful village feel in the middle of the city.
Rooms were clean, no noise. Breakfast wasn't very varied but certainly adequate, filling, no lines. Good air-conditioning.
Room was rather small (although I guess that's pretty standard for European hotels), and they only gave on key for both me and my roommate and refused to give us another copy. And one minor thing: there was only 1 hook to hang all our towels.
